Art365/364: Pampered Princess

This is just what I need on the penultimate day of 2022: a comfy throne, someone pressing my feet, food, drinks, and music on demand! I'll pass on the hukkah though!

This fantastic painting was made between 1680 and 1690, in Mankot, in the Punjab hills. The colours and the stylisation of the figures are very recognisable to the area and time period, but the bright yellow (on a computer screen) can distract the viewer from the delicate green made from beetles' wings, that embellish this picture. The painting is as lively as it is opulent.
